The city is teaming with Pride Disposal Co and Pride Recycling Co to host a recycling event in the Fowler Middle School parking lot (10865 SW Walnut Street). Bring your e-waste and sensitive documents to this one-stop recycling/shredding event. Payment by cash or check only.
Items for E-Waste Recycling
Disposal FREE: All items that have a screen (including laptops, TVs and computer monitors) are accepted at no charge.
Disposal Fee: $5 for peripherals (desktop printer/copier/fax machine, UPS battery backup, VHS/DVD player). $.50 for fluorescent type lights 4' or shorter and $1 for fluorescent tube lights longer than 4' or compact fluorescent light bulbs.
Paper Shredding and Food Drive
Securely dispose of printed materials containing sensitive information and support the Oregon Food Bank too!
One brown paper grocery bag of documents will be shredded and recycled FREE with the donation of two (2) non-perishable food items. Limit one free bag per car. Disposal fee: $10 for each additional red recycling bin of shredding (minimum fee of $10).
